Reconsidering Christianity and Islam: The First 100 Years

These days there is much in the news about Islam and Christianity, but there is also much about these religions that is little known. They had very different beginnings and their historical development also took different paths, but then there are also similarities. This post is a short essay about reconsidering how these two religions began and developed in their first one hundred years, and how this early development set the pattern for later development.
